Racing Incidents

RED HOT PUNCH was observed to be trotting lame on right fore, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

DYANOOSH (Afroz Khan) and VITAL SIGN (B R Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (TOOTSIE DARLING) that his instructions were to sit 3rd which he tried to follow until entering the straight and when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh and noted. Subsequent Veterinary endoscopic examination of the filly revealed as a bleeder.

Jockey P. Uday Kiran (SHAH OF IRAN) was severely reprimanded for traveling wide until entering the straight and thereafter dropping his hands in the straight for no apparent reason.

Jockey B R Kumar (VITAL SIGN) was fined Rs.2000/- for losing his position in the initial stages of the race instead of positioning with the bunch and thereafter shifting out at about the 100 mtrs and forcing out DAYANOOSH (Afroz Khan).

TOP IN CLASS ( B. Nikhil) trailed the field throughout the race and finished the course at the rear end of the field.  Trainer S S F Hassan was advised for a better performance in future.

STATE MAN (Dhanu S Deora) winner of the race is sampled.
