Racing Incidents

Jockey Varun (SIMRAN’S ATTITUDE) reported that the saddle used on his mount slipped within the first furlong after the start. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey Vishal Bunde (EASTERN WIND) was reprimanded for allowing his mount to race freely in the initial stages of the race and warned to be more careful in this aspect in future.

MOUNTAIN GOLD ran detached from about the 600 metres of the race. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until capable of a better performance.

Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised not to accept with his charge DUBAI PRINCE, which finished the race detached from the field, until it was capable of a better performance.

Vet’s report :
1.    MADE IN HEAVEN returned bleeding from its nostrils. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

2.    EASTERN WIND, DUBAI PRINCE, THE PRESENCE and MOUNTAIN GOLD were examined and no abnormalities were found.
