A WINK ANNDA SMILE dropped out from about the final 200 metres of the race and was eased up by its rider. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised not to accept with his charge until capable of a better performance.

Jockey Md Azharuddin (CASHABAN) was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st infringement).
