Racing Incidents

EMPERORS CHARM (A A Vikrant) was observed to be suffering from Colic, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

Explanation of Jockey Surya Prakash (UNA PALOMA BLANCA) in the presence of Trainer MF Ali Khan that his instructions were to go to front, but as his mount took a fly jump, losing about 1 or 2 lengths he could not follow the instructions and in the straight he did his best was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 3000/- for inept handling of his mount for greater part of the race.

Subsequent Veterinary examination of UNA PALOMA BLANCA (Surya Prakash) revealed that though the mare was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides.  Trainer M F Ali Khan was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.

Jockey B. Nikhil (DHANADEEPA) was fined Rs. 2000/- for dropping his hands soon after the start and losing his position in the initial stages the race and also losing his reins in the final 100 mtrs of the race, thereby losing his momentum in riding out his mount.
