MAGNIFICO was slow to begin.

Jockey P Tejeshwar (MAGNIFICO) reported that his mount was hanging out from about the 700 metres. The Jockey was reprimanded for failing to exercise proper control over his mount thereby allowing it to shift outwards from about the 500 metres of the race. Further, he was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for excessive of the whip (2nd infringement).
