Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey Ajay Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey P. Sai Kumar to be substituted on CHERISH THE LADY.

Jockey P. Uday Kiran (SHAH OF IRAN) was cautioned for shifting out 50 mtrs after the start in the process forcing out CHERISH THE LADY (P. Sai Kumar).

Jockey Afroz Khan (LINA O LINA) reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight more so under pressure inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer A. Vatsalya was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.   Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly sustained clipped injury over right outer bulb of heel.  However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.

Jockey P. Sai Kumar (CHERISH THE LADY) was cautioned for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage throughout the race.

Jockey Surya Prakash (SURYAVANSHI) was fined Rs. 2000/- for shifting out at about the 400 mtrs in the process taking the ground of BEVERLEY (Arjun).

Veterinary examination of CHERISH THE LADY (P. Sai Kumar) revealed that the mare sustained cut injury over right fore back of fore arm in the race.  However, though the the mare was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was fined a sum of Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.
