Racing Incidents
SECRET WISH (M Reuben) and SILENT HUNTER (I Chisty) were slow off losing about a length each. ISLAND WARRIOR (S Paswan) was observed to be hanging out for the greater part of the race and veered out onto the outer rails whilst negotiating the final bend, finishing the course as such Tr. E Bhungard has been advised to take remedial measures. The Manager – Veterinary Services has been requested to examine the colt and submit his report. The Manager – Veterinary Services reported that SECRET WISH (M Reuben) returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. R Corner has been advised not to accept with his charge till certified fit by the Manager – Veterinary Services. Urine Sample. Under instructions from the Stewards, urine sample from APOSTROPHE, owned by Mr. D A Nanda, Mrs. Sheila Nanda, Mrs. Esha Nanda Bhojwani and Mr. Amitabh Nanda rep. Arion Horse Co. Pvt Ltd. and trained by Ms. Arti Doctor, was taken.
