Rutherford Alford informed the Stipendiary Stewards that his instructions to his jockey App B Srinivas Rao, the rider of KNIGHTS FALCON were, if circumstances permitted, to ride the horse from mid field in the early stages of the race, thereafter to make gradual progress and to do his best during the final stages. His instructions were noted.
