Racing Incidents
CRADOC (M Maseyk) was slow to begin.

An objection was lodged by App Vikash Tamang, the rider of SILKEN SENORITA placed 4th by the Judge against Jockey C Alford, the rider of ELUSIVE THOUGHT placed 3rd by the Judge on the grounds of “coming onto me in the last 200 metres whereby I had to stop riding, check my mount and this cost me a place”. The Stewards after having interviewed both the jockeys, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards, resolved to uphold the objection and revise the order of the Judge’s placings as under :-

SARTAJ - 1st
ZAKIYAH - 2nd
SILKEN SENORITA - 3rd
ELUSIVE THOUGHT - 4th
FAIRY GIRL - 5th


The Veterinary Officer reported that SILKEN SENORITA returned lame on its right fore. Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
