Racing Incidents
SECRET PRINCESS (Shezad Khan) was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before entering the paddock.  Tr. Bath was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
 
b c HUNDRED PIPERS (R Laxmikant) was  fractious in its stall and in the process injured itself.  Under the circumstances the colt was  withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders.  Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer and to give the colt adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
 
MALAHIDE (Aadesh Kumar) refused to raise a fluent gallop during the early and middle stages of the race and completed the  course detached from the field.  In view of its performance Tr. Bharath Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.
 
AZORIAN (C Alford) and KUAN YIN (P Kamlesh) under pressure drifted to the outer portion of the race track during the final stages of the race.
