Racing Incidents

b f ARANEDA was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the race day morning and found to be lame on left hind.  Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. Trainer Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.     

In a tightly packed field approaching the 1600 mtr marker, ICE FANTASY, CHALAQUE and MANHATTAN RAIN received various degrees of interference.  At a subsequent enquiry, it was established that the interference received was due to the crowding of the field and no blame could be attached to any jockey, hence no action beyond noting the incident was taken.
