Racing Incidents

ROESTI (Shezad Khan) was very fractious while being stalled.  Tr. Bath was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with the gelding again.

TOUGH ONE (K Deepesh) and IMPERIAL STAR (App Md Javed) were slow to begin.

Some distance after the start APPLE CANDY (App Ankit Kumar, drawn 5) was severely bumped by SECRET WHISPERS (Melvyn Maseyk, drawn 1) which shifted out  under the use of the whip.  At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Melvyn Maseyk was shown the CCTV replay of the race and was fined a sum of Rs. 4000/- for reckless riding and informed that should he continue to ride in a similar manner, he would be reported to the Stewards with the recommendation for severe disciplinary action.  Further, he was advised to once again report to the jockey Coach for corrective measures.

Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of SECRET WHISPERS, was fined a sum of Rs. 1000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st offence) on his mount.

The Veterinary Officer reported that LAKE SPIRIT and  IMPERIAL STAR returned lame on  their right and left fore respectively.  Trs. Bharath Singh and  Vikash Jaiswal were informed not to accept with their respective charges until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
