b m POKER ANGEL, a declared runner in the above race was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of 19^th March, 2013 and found to be lame on right fore.  Under the circumstances the mare was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.  Tr. E Bhungard was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

THRICE BLESSED (App J K Prasad) and TOUCH OF STYLE (Afzal Khan) were slow to begin.

FLAMING LOVE (Sk Zaffar Riaz) planted and took no practical part in the race. The Starting Stall Certificate of the mare has been revoked by the Starter.

Passing the 600 metres BENJAMIN (Imran Chisty) making progress on the outside of EBONY PRINCESS (Kishore Kadam) was checked by its rider and lost ground when  EBONY PRINCESS  was shifted ‘outwards’ to avoid the running into the heels of ETERNAL INSTINCT (B Mahesh) which momentarily shifted ‘inwards’.  Jockey B Mahesh was shown the CCTV replay of the race and was reprimanded for not exercising adequate control over his mount.

On the morning of Wednesday, 20^th March, 2013 b g BENJAMIN was examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on right fore.  Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
