Racing Incidents

ALL THAT JAZZ (Melvyn Maseyk) was fractious while being stalled.

SILKEN SENORITA (M F Ali Khan) and GONNA BE A ROCKSTAR (Gajender Singh) were slow to begin losing approximately three lengths at the start.

During the concluding stages of the race THRICE BLESSED (D K Ashish) and SREEYANTRA (Imran Chisty) drifted ‘outwards’ under pressure.

Jockey Mohit Singh, the rider of  SHIVALIK SHAKTI, reported loss of his whip approaching the distance post.

Mr. D Karki, the trainer of dk b m THRICE BLESSED, when questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge in this race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 248 on 19th March 2013 stated that the mare is a front runner and has always performed satisfactorily when it was able to lead the field.  However, in the previous race the mare was slow to begin hence it was unable to lead the field but for which, would have performed satisfactorily.  The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanation.

The Veterinary Officer reported that ROMAN CENTURION returned with a cut injury on right fore.
