Tr. C Gleich deputizing for Tr. Jasbir Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for his negligence in the performance of his duty in that the saddle numbers of the two horses under his charge were observed to have been  interchanged when the horses were paraded in the paddock.  Subsequently the corrections were made.  For the record the stables of Tr. Jasbir Singh had been cautioned earlier for a similar misdemeanor.

TOUGH ONE (C Alford) was slow to begin thereby losing some ground at the start.  Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

gr f SNOW FALL (Sk Zaffar Riaz) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin and thereafter she refused to raise a fluent gallop for some distance.  In view of the filly’s behaviour Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge again until shown to the satisfaction of the starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
