Racing Incidents

DEVIL IN DISGUISE (Kishore Kadam) reared up as the start was effected thereby losing approximately three lengths at the start.

CONQUERABLE (Shailesh Shinde) was slow to begin.

SCHWARZENEGGER (Sandeep Rajput) stood flat footed as the start was effected thereby losing considerable ground at the start.  Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Tr. Shafiq Khan when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge HAPPY PRINCE, as compared to its previous outings during the season stated that  the gelding had joined his yard not too long ago and thereafter was treated for a sore back.  Further, the gelding was running over a distance of 2000 metres for the first time in its career which seems to be well within its radius.  The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanations.
