NOBLE AND NICE (M Krishna) was slow to begin.

Jockey Shoban Babu, the rider of DIVINE SYMPHONY, reported that his mount was inclined to hang ‘in’ throughout the race.

Tr. Mr. Shafiq Khan when afforded an opportunity to explain the poor performance of his charge b g IMPRESSIVE GLORY as compared to its previous run in Race No. 187 stated that he was surprised and could give no plausible explanation as to the reasons for the poor perfornace of the gelding.  The Stipendiary Stewards advised him to keep his charge under observation and report ailment, if any.  The Veterinary Officer reported that during endoscopy examination the gelding was found to be suffering from gutaral pouch infection and this may have had an effect on its performance.  Tr. Mr. Shafiq Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
