Racing Incidents

ALICANTE (Kiran Naidu) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. Tr. R W Alford was advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time.

SARTAJ (B Mahesh) and GLAMOUROUS GLORY (Md Islam) were fractious while being stalled.

Jockey Pintu Das, the rider of b c BAZUKA, was severely reprimanded for unnecessarily calling out in the early and middle stages of the race. Further the colt was eased by its jockey passing the distance post and on immediate examination the Veterinary Officer reported that the colt returned bleeding from both nostrils. Later than evening the Veterinary Officer reported that the colt died due to a cardiac arrest brought on by hypo -volemic shock.
