HIGHLAND KINGS (A Ashhad Asbar) was fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

DIVINE DIMENSION (Md Imran) was fractious while being stalled.

ROMANCER (Vinay Jaiswal) and SUPREME RULER (B Harish) were slow to begin.

Tr. Bharath Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge JAMAICAN as compared to its previous run in Race No. 48 on 1st December, 2015 stated that :-

a) In Race No 48 the gelding when making progress was denied a clear run in the final stages of the race and that the incident has been recorded in the Stipendiary Stewards report of the race.
b) The form of the gelding when compared to the common horse in this race and Race No. 48 i.e., SUPREME RULER was acceptable and not of great disparity.
c) Declaration of an “in form” rider in today’s race was a great plus point to the performance of the gelding.
d) The stable was pleasantly surprised with the victory as the gelding was not fancied by the stable.

The Stipendiary Stewards while deciding to give Tr. Bharath Singh the benefit of doubt in this instance, advised him to ensure that his charges run with a degree of consistency in future.
