b f ABABEEL (Akshay Kumar) was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Farley Rodrigues was informed not to accept with the filly until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Approaching the 700 metres QUEEN’S KITTEN (Anil Baandal) drifted to the outer portion of the rack track in spite of the jockey’s best efforts to keep it on an even course. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with the filly again in a race.
