On being informed by the Trainer, ch g RAMESSES, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer in the saddling enclosure and was found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised not to accept with the gelding until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. He was further informed that in future he must inform the Veterinary Officer of any ailment on an acceptor of his, immediately on noticing the same failing which he would be liable for action as deemed fit.

Jockey Sk Israil, the rider of LAND OF GLORY, was severely reprimanded for the tender handling of his mount throughout the race.

App Nikhil Naidu, the rider of ASCEND, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for shifting ‘inwards’ for no apparent reason and causing inconvenience to EL MAGNIFICO (App Rupal Singh) making progress on the rail side passing the distance post.
