Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Javed Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer and shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

GLAMOUROUS GLORY (App S Lalit) and ROMANCER (App P Vikram) were fractious in their respective stalls.

App S Lalit, the rider of GLAMOUROUS GLORY (drawn 7) and App Nikhil Naidu, the rider of FOOTLOOSE (drawn 9), were fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- each for coming in sharply some distance after the start and causing various degrees of inconvenience to the horses drawn on the inside. Further, Apprentice Nikhil Naidu was reprimanded for failing to exercise proper control over his mount thereby allowing it to drift ‘outwards’ in the final stages of the race.
