b g RISING FROM ASHES, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Friday, 9 th November, 2018 and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. T r. J E Mckeown was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

MAHALI (Neeraj Rawal) was fractious while being stalled.

An enquiry was held immediate ly after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of EL CID (App Sujit Kr Paswan) some distance after the start. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was establ ished that the fall was accidental and no blame could be att ached to anybody, hence, the ‘ALL CLEAR’ signal was ordered to be hoisted. App Sujit Kr. Paswan was examined by the Medical Officer and declared fit.

Jockey A Sandesh, the rider of RAQS SHARQI, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ - for the excessive use of the whip (1 st infringement).

The Veterinary Officer reported that MICHAELA returned w ith a cut injury on right hind.
