b g AUNTY’S BOY, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Wednesday, 27th March, 2019 and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

BAGLIONI (Hindu Singh) and DARK ANGEL (App Rupal Singh) arrived late to the start. Trs. J E Mckeown and Raunak Banerji were advised to ensure that their respective charges arrive on time in future.

Immediately after the running of the race, App Rupal Singh, the rider of DARK ANGEL reported that passing the 600 metres marker he ran into the heels of LOOKING GOOD (App P Tejeshwar) and stumbled. At a subsequent enquiry both Jockeys were interviewed and App Tejeshwar was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for shifting ground ‘inwards’ when not adequately clear of the other runner and further he was informed that should he ride in a similar manner in future, he would be dealt with more severely.
