HAMMER OF GOD (B Mahesh) was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind  the  starting gates and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to  be  withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Shyam  S Habbu  was informed  not to  accept  with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

KIMAYA (Dashrath Singh) was very unruly while being stalled in process the bridle came off. As  there was insufficient time to replace the equipment, the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

Jockey Mohit Singh, the rider of BEAT THE BANK, when afforded an opportunity to explain the running and riding of his mount stated that he was instructed to place his mount in 3rd/4th position and  do his best and that he rode his mount to  the  best  of his ability.  On questioning Tr.  Jasbir  Singh stated that he had instructed Jockey Mohit Singh to place the mare along the rails and to  do  his best. The Stipendiary Stewards after viewing the CCTV replay of the race and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey Mohit Singh decided to fine Jockey Mohit Singh a sum of Rs.
 
10,000/- for failing to comply with the Trainer’s instructions and for unsatisfactory riding  in  that during the early and middle stages of the race he made no effort to improve his  position thereby  placing his mount in a position of disadvantage at the rear of the field.
