Racing Incidents

Jockey Nikhil Naidu, the rider of SHIVAYY, reported that his mount was  not responding to  his urgings throughout the race. The same was noted.

ch m VIAREGGIO (Sameer Khan) was observed to have drifted ‘out’ under pressure in the concluding stages of the race. On immediate veterinary examination the mare was found  to have bled from both nostrils. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to  accept  with  his charge  until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
