INDIAN STAR (Sujit Kr Paswan) was slow to begin losing approximately 5 – 6 lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Jockey B R Kumar, the rider of JINSOKU, was unbalanced as the start was effected losing his stirrup irons which he was unable to regain till into the final straight. The Jockey was advised to be more alert at the start in future.

App P Tejeshwar, the rider of LIVISILLA, when questioned about his riding on his mount stated that his mount was not striding out fluently from the bend, the mare was on the wrong foot and also that he lost his whip passing the distance post. He reported the same to his Trainer. Not being satisfied with the explanation tendered, the apprentice was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for failing to ride out his mount from rounding the final bend till well into the straight. The apprentice was further informed that a close watch will be kept on his future riding.

App P Tejeshwar, the rider of LIVISILLA, reported loss of whip passing the distance post.

ch m EMBER GLOW was examined by the Veterinary Officer after the race and found to be trotting sound.
