Racing Incidents

Jockey Nikhil Naidu (LIGHTINTHESKY) was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for allowing his mount to shift out soon after jump out causing tightening of the field on the outside.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of BEAUTIFUL, reported that his mount was lacking initial speed as such he was unable to keep up with the field in spite of his best efforts during the initial and middle stages of the race. He further stated that the filly was finishing on and in his opinion needs a longer trip which he has shared with his Trainer, was noted.

The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine FOOTPRINTS and BEAUTIFUL and submit his reports.

The Veterinary Officer reported that :-

a)    FOOTPRINTS returned lame on right fore.

b)    LIGHTNING BLAZE returned bleeding from its nostrils.

Trs. Ms. Arti Doctor and Narendra Lagad were informed not to accept with their respective charges until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Following the race day morning BEAUTIFUL was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be trotting sound.
