Racing Incidents

App Prathvi Singh failed to fulfill his riding engagement for this race. As there was no suitable substitute Jockey available to ride ch g DUBAI BAY, the gelding was withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards. App Prathvi Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for the lapse. Master Trainer Javed Khan was advised not to accept rides for his apprentice which the latter is unable to fulfill.

MOUNT RENO was difficult to load.

MONTGOMERY was slow to begin.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of TRES BIEN, reported that his mount was hanging in when placed under pressure.

Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan (SHIVALIK SILK) was reprimanded for allowing his mount to drift out under pressure in the concluding stages of the race.

Tr. Sabeel Shariff and Jockey Md Imran (ANGEL LIGHT) were advised to ensure that their charges/mounts are run and ridden to obtain the best possible position in the race failing which appropriate action as deemed fit will be initiated.

The Veterinary Officer reported that MAGIC MOMENT returned with a gum injury.
