Racing Incidents

On the morning of Wednesday, 1st March, 2023 b g INDIAN STAR, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

REAGAN was slow to begin.

ALGOZE was hanging out from about the 600 metres. Tr. Shyam Habbu was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of ASHWAMEGH, was reprimanded for repeatedly looking over his shoulders while rounding the final bend for no apparent reason. The Jockey was further warned and informed that a strict watch will be kept on his future riding.

Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan, the rider of OUR CHOICE, was reprimanded for the improper use of the whip .

The Veterinary Officer reported that COPPER returned lame on right fore. Tr. C Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
