For failing to produce the declared colours in respect of his charge THE FLYING EAGLE, Tr. B Mahesh was fined a sum of Rs. 500/-. Subsequently the gelding was permitted to run in the emergency colours “ALL BLACK”.

Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was reprimanded for the late arrival of his charge MORNING STAR to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainer was further advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future.

THE FLYING EAGLE was slow to begin losing considerable ground at the start. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of   NEW LOOK, when questioned to explain the poor performance of his mount stated that when asked for a final effort his mount refused to quicken and had nothing to offer in the straight. His explanation was noted. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the mare and submit his report. The Veterinary Officer reported that on an endoscopy the mare was found
 
to have respiratory tract infection (Gr II).

TAIMUR’S CHOICE (RS Bhati) drifted out sharply passing the 300 metres and continued to do so in the concluding stages of the race carrying MORNING STAR out with it. Jockey R S Bhati was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
