Tr. Rutherford Alford was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for accepting his charge b g CHETAK in the above race while under medication. Subsequently the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn.

TRUTH AND DARE and ASHWAMEGH were difficult to load. REAGAN was slow to begin.
INDIAN STAR played up as the start was effected losing approximately 2 – 3 lengths at the start.

Jockey Md Imran, the rider of YUVI, was reprimanded for failing to infuse adequate vigour on his mount in the concluding stages of the race.

TRUTH AND DARE was denied a clear run passing the 300 metres when REAGAN switched course to the outside.

COMPLIANCE drifted out when placed under pressure.

Tr. Patrick Quinn when questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge b m COMPLIANCE as compared to its previous outing stated that “last time my horse COMPLIANCE was ridden by apprentice Prathvi Singh who is a very weak rider and he could not do justice to the horse as the filly needs strong handling with a whip to keep her going. This time I put up a strong good rider PS Chauhan and he rode a strong finish on the filly and that's why she managed to win this race Also this was the most weak field in this class and most of them being non winners”. While noting his explanations the trainer was advised to ensure that his charges perform more consistently in future.

The Veterinary Officer reported that :-
a)    TRUTH AND DARE returned lame on right fore.
b)    ASHWAMEGH returned lame on right fore.

Trs. Suraj P Shaw and Vikash Jaiswal were informed not to accept with their respective charges until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
