As Jockey Md Imran was medically unfit to fulfil his riding engagement for the day, Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was permitted to substitute Jockey P Surya to ride his charge YUVI.

b g CHETAK was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the starting gates and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Jockey R S Bhati, the rider of ASTERIX, reported that his mount was running green during the initial stages of the race and thereby inconvenienced YUVI passing the 1100 metres. The Jockey was, however, advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future.

The Veterinary Officer reported that INDIAN STAR returned lame on left fore. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
