SAVVY CHIC was slow to begin.

Jockey Sujit Kr Paswan, the rider of GOLDEN OAKS, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of whip (1st infringement).

Tr. Aashay Doctor when questioned regarding the running of his charge DELPHINI stated that he had instructed the rider to place his mount in 3rd or 4th position as he expected GOLDEN OAKS and MONFORTINO to cut the pace upfront and to do his best in the straight. He further stated that other than for the Jockey coming wide round the bend to make his final move, he had no cause to complain against the Jockey. Jockey Akshay Kumar corroborated the instructions and stated that his mount drifted out in the straight even though he was using the whip in the left hand, she came up with a run passing the distance post but could do no better, was noted.
