b g SUMMER NIGHT, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on 17th October, 2023 and found to be lame on left fore due to hoof puncture.   Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Bharath Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

TIGRIO which was difficult to load was slow to begin.

SAVVY CHIC, SIEGE PERILOUS and STOCKBRIDGE were extremely difficult to load. Trs. Patrick Quinn, B Mashesh and Aashay Doctor were advised not to accept with their respective charges until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.

GOLDEN OAKS was slow to begin losing approximately 3 – 4 lengths at the start. Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.

Jockey Nikhil Naidu, the rider of TACTICAL COMMAND, reported that his whip broke during the running of the race.

Tr. Patrick Quinn was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for producing wrong colours in respect of his charge SAVVY CHIC.

The Veterinary Officer reported that GOLDEN OAKS returned bleeding from its nostrils. Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
