dk b f FRESH HOPE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Saturday, 2nd December, 2023 and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds.   Tr. B Rajender Reddy was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

IMPERMANENCE was extremely difficult to load, fractious inside its stall and ducked out from the gates in the process sustaining a cut injury on its left hind. Under the circumstances the mare was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked.

BY THE BOOK was extremely difficult to load.   Tr.   Neil Darashah was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.

LION QUEEN was slow to begin losing approximately 3 – 4 lengths at the start.

Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of SPORTING TRAINER, was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for unsatisfactory riding in that he repeatedly checked his mount in the first furlong of the race for no apparent reason placing his mount in a disadvantageous position which had a bearing on the eventual placing of the gelding.
