CELTIC HARLEQUIN arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. Patrick Quinn had been warned earlier for late arrival of his charges to the start, he has now been fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for this instance. DEVUSHKA was difficult to load. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again. MOUNT RENO was extremely difficult to load. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial. Afzal Khan, the rider of HORUS THE GREAT, was fined a sum of Rs. 25,000/- for unsatisfactory riding in that he failed to improve position till past the 400 metres when he had every opportunity to do so and for being feeble in his finishing efforts from about the 300 metres. |
