Racing Incidents

NORD was fractious in its stall and reared up, in the process its right fore got stuck on the side bars of the gate. The gelding was taken out and permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

TIGER SHARK was difficult to load. TIGER BLOOD was fractious in its stall.

Jockey R Manish, the rider of BORN TO BE SPOILT which was slow to begin, was severely reprimanded for failing to improve position till about the final bend. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised to ensure that his charges are run and ridden in such manner that leaves no room for query.

Jockey S Zervaan, the rider of TIGER SHARK, was reprimanded for failing to maintain a straight course during the concluding stages of the race.
