BORN TO BE SPOILT was slow to begin.

Jockey Vinay Jaiswal (CIANA) reported that the filly was under pressure from about the 700 metres and passing the 150 metres she suddenly seemed to lose her hind action, as such he eased her up. On veterinary examination the filly was found to be stiff from both hind. Tr. Shyam S Habbu was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Jockey P S Chouhan (BORN TO BE SPOILT) reported that his mount hung in and brushed the rails passing the 400 metres, in the process he lost his whip.
