Racing Incidents
INCREDIBLE BEAUTY (App.Shrikant Kamble) was sluggish at the start resulting in losing about 2 lengths. ARTS (Y S Srinath) reported that his mount hung out very badly in the straight. Remedial measures suggested to Tr C D Katrak. MANTOVANI (Hanumant Singh) jumped towards the outside inspite of which the jockey further tapped the horse on the right. Jockey Hanumant Singh has been fined 1000/- for his carelessness. Trainer C D Katrak and Jockey R.Biramne were questioned regarding the running and riding of RIDING FANTASY. The trainer confirmed that he had instructed the jockey to ride the horse hands and heels as this was her first outing on the Pune Track. Not being satisfied by their explanation, have both been fined Rs 3000/- each. After the race, it was observed that MANTOVANI had broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club?s VO before next accepting to race. The Sr. V. O. reported that ADAMS LAW had a wolf toot
