Racing Incidents

OCTOPAUL (Dashrath Singh) jumped out slow, losing about 2 lengths at the start.

Near 500 metres, POUND FOOLISH (P.Trevor) was steadied and shifted in as GATRAVAT (I.Shaikh) shifted inward due to the bend, and made contact with WESTERLIE (A.Sandesh) who lost position. The incident was accidental, as such no action was initiated against any jockey.

In the final stages of the race, SADDLERS RULE (P.S.Chouhan) shifted out and made contact with FLYING JEWEL (P.Kamlesh).

Jockey Dashrath Singh (OCTOPAUL) has been cautioned for allowing his mount to shift inwards in the final 200 metres.

After the race, FLOODS OF FORTUNE was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race,  SADDLERS RULE and GATRAVAT were found to be sound.
