WIND OF THE HILLS (Amyn Merchant) was restless in the stall. Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Jockey P.Trevor, the declared Rider for SCARLATTI informed on 25^th August 2012 that he had erroneously accepted to ride SCARLATTI in this race and would not be able to fulfill his riding engagement as he had already accepted a ride in a Graded race at Hyderabad. As such, Jockey P.Trevor has been fined Rs.3000/- for failing to fulfill his riding engagement on SCARLATTI and  Jockey B.Prakash was substituted in his place.

At the start, SECRET WEAPON (F.Irani) shifted in and caused WIND OF THE HILLS (Amyn Merchant) to shift in, who in turn caused SAMI (P.Kamlesh) to shift in, who was awkwardly placed behind the heels of SCARLATTI (B.Prakash) and was steadied. Jockey F.Irani has been fined Rs. 1000/-.

COMMANDER (Dashrath Singh) lugged out in the straight. Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

Jockey J.Chinoy (SET TO FLY) has been cautioned for allowing his mount to drift outwards in the straight.

An enquiry has been initiated into the riding of SET TO FLY and a report will be submitted shortly.
