Racing Incidents

MANDEVILLE & ALASTAIR were brought late in the paddock. As such Tr. P. Shroff has been cautioned.
 
REGAL COMMAND (Bhawani Singh, dr.9) jumped out slowly losing about a length at the start on viewing the replay it was observed that the blindfold used on the gelding was removed fractionally late. In this connection all the handlers were spoken to and were asked to be more alert in future.
 
At the start, BUCKLEY (A. Sandesh, dr.6) jumped inwards onto WELLINGTON (Santosh G., dr.5) who inturn went onto FLAMING LAMBORGINI (Y. S. Srinath, dr.4) and made contact. In the process WELLINGTON was tightened and dropped back.
 
Passing 300 metres, Jockey Y. S. Srinath (FLAMING LAMBORGINI) was observed to have lost his left rein momentarily.
 
Approaching the 200 metres, MULTISTARRER (P. Trevor) was observed to have shifted out under urgings thereby trying to force a passage as a result made contact with BUCKLEY (A. Sandesh) thereafter at about 150 metres ALASTAIR (P. S. Chouhan) leaned outwards due to which MULTISTARRER racing on his haunches was forced to shift out further. After questioning all concerned, Jockey P. Trevor has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
After the race, Jockey N S Parmar (PURE) reported that he was denied a clear run in the straight.
 
After the race on questioning Jockey P S Chouhan (ALASTAIR) stated that his mount lugged out in the straight despite his efforts. Trainer P Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures.
 
After the race, MANDEVILLE & ALASTAIR were trotted and found to be sound and BUCKLEY was observed to have lost its right fore shoe.
