MARINE GIRL (D. R. Shubham) bolted off with the rider on the way to the start and was apprehended near 200 metres. Since the filly had almost run the entire course, Trainer Altaf Hussain was called and with his due concern the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

At the start, SIERRA DELA PLATA (Neeraj Rawal, dr.2) jumped outwards and went across MY PRINCESS (S. Saqlain, dr.3) causing the later to be steadied.

Soon after the start, HAGIBIS (App. A. S. Peter) shifted in and carried KAITLAN (A. Sandesh) inwards due to which PRINIA (P. Trevor) racing on its haunches had to be checked and change course thereafter HAGIBIS further shifted in under urgings thereby tightening and inconveniencing KAITLAN. After questioning App. A. S. Peter and not being satisfied with his explanation, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for one race day i.e. on Sunday, 9th October 2022 (permitted to ride work/mock race).

Passing the 600 metres, STARRY SPIRIT (Antony Raj S.) was observed to have dropped for no apparent reason and thereafter ran detached from the field. Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to ensure that his charge puts up a reasonable performance in the future.

After the race, App. A. S. Peter (HAGIBIS) reported the loss of whip passing the 150 metres. This being the first instance during the current Pune Meeting 2022, no action has been initiated.

After the race, PRINIA was trotted and found to be sound. Further the filly was scoped and found to have EIPH (Gr.1).
