Racing Incidents

Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been fined Rs.1,000/- for accepting with his charge TREASURE GOLD in  this race, whilst the gelding was under Starter's ban. The gelding was struck out at the acceptance stage.
 
Soon after the start, DREAM SELLER (R. Ajinkya) veered outwards despite the riders efforts thereby carrying BELLAGIO (A. S. Peter) outwards who had to be checked. In view of the same and a similar behavior of the gelding in his last start, Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, ATHENIAN was trotted and found to be sound.
