At the request of Trainer S. K. Sunderji, WALTER was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. in the stable area at 12.10 p.m. on 19th October 2023 and was found to be sore by right fore and had swelling on right fore pastern, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
TREASURE GOLD (S. Mosin, dr.9) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.
 
At the start, SPIRIT BAY (Neeraj Rawal, dr.4) jumped outwards and made contact with REMY RED (Shrikant Kamble, dr.5) thereafter COMMANDMENT (P. Trevor, 6) shifted in onto REMY RED forcing it inwards onto SPIRIT BAY due to which REMY RED had to be steadied. Jockey P. Trevor has been cautioned.
 
After the race, COMMANDMENT was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, SWEET EMOTION was trotted and found to be sound. Further, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, endoscopy was performed on SWEET EMOTION at the Equine Hospital and no abnormality was detected.
 
The Equine Hospital reported that REMY RED was found to have sore left eye with ulcer.
