Racing Incidents
KODOS (M.F. ALI KHAN) took a fly jump as the start was effected in the process losing 2 to 3 lengths. HIGHLAND QUEEN (P. KAMLESH) slowly off loosing about 2 to 3 lengths. BENTOTA (K. ANIL) slowly off loosing about 1 or 2 lengths. Jockey R. Laxmikanth (HOSPITALITY) fined Rs. 1,000/- for losing position in the initial stages of the race for no apparent reason. Jockey Ravinder Singh (FEVER FEW) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the straight in future. Explanation of Jockey P. Kamlesh (HIGHLAND QUEEN) that his mount was slow out losing 2 to 3 lengths and thereafter was forced to travel wide from about 800 metres until entering the straight due to TITLE SHOT (N. RAWAL) on his inside tending to drift out and in the straight his mount had nothing to offer inspite of his efforts, noted. Jockey N. Rawal (TITLE SHOT) cautioned for traveling wide from 800 metres until entering the straight in the process forcing out HIGHLAND QUEEN (P. KAMLESH) to go wide.
