Racing Incidents

NOVAYA ZEMLYA (P.S. CHOUHAN) dwelt and lost 4 to 5 lengths. SSC revoked.

App. P. Venkat (VIJAYSJYOTHI) reported loss of his whip at about the 400 metres.

App. G. Sai Vamshi (DANNY) was cautioned for going wide in final stages of the race.

Explanation of Jockey B. Sreekanth (STAR STRIKER) that his instructions were to go to the front as such he was forced to use up his gelding in the initial stages of the race to follow the given instructions resulting in the gelding tiring and shortening her strides in the straight inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer K. Satheesh was noted for future reference.

Explanation of Jockey Deep Shanker (SHEIKHS EMPEROR ) in the presence of Trainer Laxman Singh that his instructions were to go to the front which he had followed until entering the straight and thereafter the gelding did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted.  Trainer Laxman Singh was however severely cautioned for changing the pattern of running of his charge without prior intimation who normally is positioned 3rd or 4th.
