Explanation of Trainer A. Vatsalya re: the improved performance of his charge ZULU PUNCH (N. RAWAL)  the winner of this race that his charge in her previous run, ran after a gap of about 5 months and being a 6 furlong race she could not be positioned to advantage due to fast initial pace and was gaining ground in the straight as compared to this engagement being a 7 furlongs race she could be positioned to advantage and the extra 200 metres was to her advantage as such the improved performance, noted.  However, Trainer A. Vatsalya was advised to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future.
