Racing Incidents

Explanation of Jockey P.S. Chouhan (VIJAYS WINNER)  that his mount was tending to run out for the greater part of the race and maintained an erratic course whereby he had greater difficulty in riding him on even keel in the process the gelding had shifted in at about the 1400 metres causing interference to FASHIONISTA (A. RAMANA) and RACING TYCOON (P.A. CULHANE) inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh while confirming the above stated that his charge had behaved in a similar fashion in his earlier start and felt that he had no explanation to offer.  Both the Jockeys and Trainers explanations were noted for future reference. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse was trotting sound
